Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendro (BNSK) is an association of marginalized women workers registered with Department/Directorate of Women Affairs under Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. It is an organization of poor, self-employed women workers. These are women who earn a living through their own labor or small businesses/enterprises. They do not obtain regular salaried employment with welfare benefits like workers in the formal/organized sector. They are the unprotected labor force of our country. However their work is not counted and hence remains invisible. In fact, women workers themselves remain uncounted, under counted and invisible.

A society where all women workers are provided their rights, dignity and recognized for their contribution
To create a just society for all the women workers where they are treated with dignity and justice, their rights are upheld, they are recognized for the contribution that they make towards the economy and development, they have recourse to justice and their voices are heard and recognized in every decision that affects their lives.
BNSK also envisions a society where all forms of discrimination are abolished and all working women enjoy the rights of Human, women and workers in the country and overseas.

BNSK seeks to empower women workers by encouraging participation of women workers and leadership in the hands of women workers.
We emphasizes that all domestic work has dignity as it is an indirect participation towards the growth of economy and contributes to the quality of life.
We works towards justice for all women workers, for their recognition as ‘workers’, for legislation for women workers and for public awareness of their dignity and their rights.
